Kristen Stewart's Chin is going to haunt my dreams tonight. I just hope and pray that Chris Weitz has directed New Moon with more flattering camera angles than stoner betch Catherine Hardwicke.
I already know I will be spending the vast majority of this movie looking at AppalaCHIN girl and the dog boy. With the occasional ghosty images of Rob Pattz to keep my ass in the seat. And then I have to get up at 7 and be to work AND IN A MEETING...at 8:30. Zombie girl is my new nickname. I can tell I will be mainlining java tomorrow.
Kidlet and I are just getting ready to take off. I am going in pajama's. Don't care if that makes me a slacker. I will be a comfy slacker.
Oh and bonus of the midnight movie? I have a reason to drink coffee at Midnight!
With that I leave you Train and Meet Virginia =)

None But Ourselves Can Free Our Minds - TT
Seeing that I have been embracing my inner randomness (that's fancy talk for being lazy) I figured why not just roll on through the week that way. So I am taking the easy way out and doing a Cherry Darling the iPod Shuffler Queen playlist for you. With a tiny bit of info about each artist or song.
Take it away, Cherry!
1. Nice first choice. Redemption Song - Bob Marley. It gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it. According to Bob's wife, he was aware he had cancer at the time that he wrote this song and it's impact on the lyrics is pretty obvious. The lines "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds" were taken from a speech by Pan Africanist Marcus Garvey.
2. How Soon Is Now? - Love Spit Love. Well this one is easy peasy on the trivia. It's a cover of a Smith's song and of course this version was the theme song for Charmed. I loved that show =)
3. Give Me Novacaine - Green Day - HAH! Green Day trivia time! I didn't have to do jack or shit for this one, all I had to do was ask Kidlet! Who was Green Day's first drummer and why did he quit? Answer in the first comment.
4. Everlong (Acoustic version) - Foo Fighters. Ok here is some trivia for you. For the longest time I liked the Foo's but not really. Does that make sense? It's cause I was carrying the Grohl Grunge Grudge. Kinda like "The Wrong Beatle Died" grudge so many people had. I am over it. Huggles to Dave :P
5. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - U2. HAH! U2 trivia! What was their original name? Answer in the first comment. Oh and *I* will find what I am looking for on June 2oth in the Church of U2 =)
6. Sad Sweetheart of the Rodeo - Harvey Danger. Well here is a bit of local trivia for you. My favoritest DJ ever, Greg Glover owns the record label that released Harvey Danger's first album, Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone? That label would be Arena Records. My DJ pwns your DJ.
7. I'll Be You - The Replacements. Here's a bit of info for you. If you don't know The 'Mats you SHOULD know The 'Mat. Yes I just went all Radiohead Fan Music Snob on your asses. Deal. Westerberg is God. This is totally a Desert Island Song. I would probably put this in my Top 20 songs ever.
8. Cry Cry Cry - Johnny Cash. Want me to be super sweet and toss out an easy bit of trivia? What was Johnny's nickname? See the comments ;0
9. Get Off My Cloud - The Rolling Stones. Ok so this is really not Stone's trivia this is more Starr Trivia. I find it IMPOSSIBLE to sing this song and NOT sing it like Bob Dylan. Go on, try it. "Hey! Yeewwww! Get offa mah .....clowwwwwed!"
10. Ruby Soho - Rancid. Pop quiz for the punk rockers in the house. What band were two members of Rancid in prior to forming Rancid?
11. Someday We'll Know - New Radicals. Here's a sad bit of trivia. By the time their hit "You Get What You Give" really took off the band had already imploded and broken up. The album Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too remains one of my favorite 90's gems.
12. Enter Sandman - Richard Cheese. Tuxicity! What is there to say about the musical genius that is Richard Cheese? How bout all the band member's last names are Cheese related aka Gouda, Feta etc.
13. No New Tale To Tell - Love and Rockets. Quick! Name the two other bands that David J and Daniel Ash played in! Hint...think Black.

Well I Guess This Is Growing Up
So last night was random crap. Tonight is stoned crap! Yes courtesy of work issues I had a right nice migraine building. Starting with the steak knife in the left eye routine.
Watching V. I love Evil Wash. But I probably need to stop thinking of him as "Evil Wash" shouldn't I?
Argh a friend on Facebook is talkin Pho and now I am have a jones for Pho. I love Pho. It is bizarre that a bowl of soup can be THAT filling.
The FBI chicks son on V looks like a porky version of the lead singer of All American Rejects.
And now I wanna here Dirty Little Secret. See the sad ass way my brain works? I suffer from Pop Culture tourette's. Those Bing commercial is NOT funny =(
Yesterday's Playlist was rather popular! I am going to be doing my year end musical wrap up a bit differently this year. For one thing I am skipping trying to make it a Thursday Thirteen. It will be much longer and will probably be divided up into a couple of days as well as by established bands versus newer/Indie bands.
For two, I may just decide to be IN FUCKING SANE and do a decade wrap up. Cause let me tell you this has been one hell of a decade. I mean I am flying high on opiates right now and even THAT is not taking the WTF factor out of that look back.
So, I might decide to do a year by year 2000 (Y2K OMG!!) through 2009 wrap up. Say 10 songs per year. Ballsy I know. But I'm a giver and for my faithful followers I think I just might bite the bullet and do it.
I just told my daughter that when she makes Duckface she looks like Miley and I got to live. That is AMAZING. But she really does. Sorry Kidlet!
Kidlet is looking through our collection of bathroom pictures. Yes. Bathroom pictures. You see when we go on our drives we end up in a lot of public restrooms. And sometimes we take pictures. But only if the restrooms are of above average interest. Like the SUPER breezy one and Yaquina Head lighthouse. Back draft takes on a whole new meaning there. Insert blow job joke here :P
Anyhow we have some fascinating shots. DOUBTFUL any of you will ever see them :P
I found Citrus Sage candles in Camas last weekend! They are my all time favorite candles. Between that and my Nag I am in Perfumey House Heaven.
Tomorrow night is Glee!!!!!
Oh my. So much for Evil Wash. I like V. I'd like a rebooted Firefly more. I know I know.
I need to step away from the Facebook Flair. Yes I do.
And with that final thought I leave you with my Hella Random playlist that I have, in a hella random manner, just added to!

All Right, Everybody Be Cool, This Is A Robbery!
So I woke up and realized, HEY....no post! So much for Monday, eh?
So...Hello Tuesday! I have jack and shit for you today because I am a slacker like that so you all get a post of random shit from my brain.
Watching House. I kinda miss The Team V2 over The Team V1.
I am having HARD CORE pecan pie craving and I have to wait over a week.
Bah. Hum. Bug.
I will be seeing New Moon this Thursday. I know I should be ashamed to admit that but strangely enough I am not. I love my cheesey Twi Goodness. Except Jacob. Team Jacob is made up of people with hideous taste and a hidden bestiality kink. Uh...and sorry if that applies to any of my friend. I ♥ you anyhow.
I really am digging on three new bands. Hockey, Florence and the Machine and The Big Pink.
I can not STAND Cameron on House. She is such a sanctimonious twat.
I do, however, dig the closing song. It's called Where Did You Go? by a Canadian indie band, Jets Overhead. I likes it.
I just watched Pulp Fiction last night and now I just want Tim Roth to start hollering about a robbery on Lie To Me.
Now I want to know why I don't own Fun Loving Criminal's Scooby Snacks. That is just wrong. You know what else I don't own? Banditos by The Refreshments. Damn!
Fixed the above two glaring omissions from my iPod.
Damn it is windy out there tonight!
With that I leave you with the new bands I am grooving to. Also keeps your eyes open for news on Music Savvy Mom. We are expanding and your's truly will be posting there more often =)
